Lomography 800 review

ANALOGUE: Lomography 800 35mm

MONDAY JULY 5, 2021

Boy am I glad to have finally given Lomography 800 a go. Shoot it from 200 to get seriously fine grain and when the sun goes away, 800 for some cinematic-look. Apart from feeling like Wong Kar Wai, this stock can be used in the day as it is not tungsten balanced.

All-weather ability coupled with colours that are true to life does make this the king of 800 speed film. Unsure of why it is marketed to have Lomography effects because it can have a professional label on and it is a film I would use for paid work.

Shot on Canon 300V paired to a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM
