Black pepper, cinnamon, prunes,
dark chocolate and dried fruit
The Hennessy XO much like olives and beer is something that grew on me as I got older. It has got a fruity scent that’s mellow in the mouth leaving a smooth complex finish. For being the de facto choice of cognacs, it is no surprise where prices has swelled over the years. There’s nothing much to shout about the packaging since it’s all about the tradition much like the design of a Porsche 911.
THE BAR: Martell Cordon Bleu 300th Anniversary
THE BAR: Courvoisier Fine Champagne
This liquid gold is one of the best cognac out there at a comfortable price point and if you are feeling adventurous, there’s always the Paradis.
