Is this for everyone?
Not really and that is the point. These sessions are for people who want a quieter kind of record that still feels right years later. If you are drawn to restraint and meaning we will get along.

Do you shoot weddings or wedding-day coverage?
No. I do sessions and preweddings.

​

Film or digital?
Both depending on what fits. Film brings a certain texture and patience. Digital gives flexibility when timing or light is tight. The final work is shaped by the same philosophy either way with calm direction and careful planning.

Can we do hybrid, film plus digital?
Yes. If we do it will be done quietly and cohesively so the final set feels like one chapter.

​

Do you provide makeup, styling, or outfits?
No makeup artist and no gowns and no wardrobe. We will have a chat about what clothing you bring and meaningful items that add a layer to the story.

I am awkward in front of the camera. Will you pose us?
I will guide you just enough then step back. You will not be asked to perform. Most people settle in after the first stretch and that is usually when the real photographs start.

What should we wear?
Wear something that will not betray you later.

• Avoid large logos and loud patterns.

• Choose tones that sit well together.

• Bring one backup outfit because Malaysia.

How do we choose locations?
We start with what is real. Home and streets you return to and places that have held your life. If you do not have ideas I will suggest locations that fit the pace and light then we choose what feels right.

Can we include parents, grandparents, friends, or pets?
Yes. Often that is where the best work is. Tell me who is involved and anything important about them such as age mobility and energy levels and I will plan the session around comfort and rhythm.

Can we include meaningful objects?
Yes when they belong naturally. A watch passed down and a letter and a table everyone gathers around and a car that carried you through a season. If it matters to you it has a place as long as it is not treated like a prop.

What happens if it rains?
We decide case by case. Sometimes rain adds something you cannot plan. Sometimes we shift locations. Sometimes we reschedule. I will recommend the option that keeps the experience calm and the work strong.

Will we receive every photo taken?
You will receive the full set plus the curated finished photographs.

​

Are location fees and permits included?

No. If a location requires an entry fee, permit, or booking, that cost is paid by the client. I will flag this early if we choose a location that needs it.

​

What happens if we are late or the schedule slips?

The session time starts from the agreed start time because the day is planned around light and pacing. If delays happen, we can adjust the plan or reduce locations to protect the final result. Extra time is available at the listed add-on rate if needed.

How long is turnaround?
Film developing and scanning typically takes about a week. After that our team reviews the set and builds a clear story and finishes the edits to our standards. Turnaround is 20 to 30 days after we receive scans from the lab

How will we receive the photos?
Through a private online gallery for viewing and download. Simple and discreet.

​

Will you post our photos online?
Only with your permission. Privacy is respected. If you are open to sharing I will keep it limited and tasteful.

​

Do you travel or shoot outstation?
Yes selectively. If a place matters to your chapter it is worth doing properly. Outstation is quoted based on distance timing and logistics.

​

How do add-ons and extra time work?
Cleanly. Anything additional is agreed upfront such as extra time and extra film and retouching. No surprises.

How do we book?
Send an enquiry to info@thecwo.com with the session you are considering and your preferred date range and who will be involved and a short note on what this chapter is about. If it feels aligned we lock the date with a retainer and plan the rest quietly.

 

Do you take every booking?
Not always. I keep slots limited. If it is not a fit I will tell you early. If it is you will have my full attention.
