ANALOGUE: Shooting Film At Night

MONDAY MARCH 30, 2026

A Hasselblad 500CM, a Manfrotto tripod and one roll of Cinestill 800T. It was all about picking up an extra pair of hands and pretending like we had something planned for the night.

During this time, we not only got to experience one but two Mercedes W123s. The earlier model was more mechanical, more input is required from the driver which means more rewarding as well. The later model made things lighter and easier as a daily driver. Both are near identical cars but drive noticeably differently. This was a time where Mercedes Benz made heirloom cars which is why these cars survived decades and will continue for decades to come.

Carl Zeiss glass went really well with Cinestill film which to our surprise didn't bloom as much as we remember. The photographs turned out better than expected except for the last one.
