This was the most unprepared, unplanned photoshoot I’ve ever had. We had an annual event that evening and since we were already dressed for it, why not take some photos? Camera, tripod and an app on the phone to trigger the shutter. We spent a full 11 minutes mostly laughing, with no real theme aside from pretending it was a picnic but where's the food? And with that, it became the most fun I’ve had in front of a camera.

With no expectations, we earned an honourable mention in that evening's latte art competition and took home second prize in Toby’s Estate Victoria’s 2024 Octobysfest Local Legend. It was a well-planned event filled with great conversations alongside Toby’s Estate, La Marzocco distributors, and fellow cafe owners. Ending the day with face painting for Halloween the next day was the cherry on top where guests left home with smiles on their faces.
