Who knew something simple and plain be this pleasing to the eyes, less is certainly more here.

 

The nose will be treated to a bed of fruits and flowers. On the palate, things are spicy and gingery which is expected when ABV is at 51.4% but surprisingly smooth. I’d recommend infrequent whisky drinkers to have it on the rocks. Finally, NFTB finishes off with warm fruity complexity.

 

From the Barrel certainly offers better value than any Japanese whisky.
