MR is no less than one of the best TV shows of 2015, one that doesn’t make hackers look dim-witted (Blackhat I’m looking at you). The show has put together modern day struggles where the vast many are consumed by student loans combined with an increasing number of mental issues amongst our society who look for asylum in abuse of substance or inflicting misery upon others. It too churns out some seriously dark lines that get one thinking, for example, “This is the world we live in. People relying on each other's mistakes to manipulate one another and use one another, even relate to one another. A warm, messy circle of humanity”.
The cherry on the cake, Mr Robot has got some sweet watches lingering throughout the show definitely is eye candy to just about any watch person. Truth be told can’t wait to see more of these nuggets in season two.

AP Royal Oak 15300
An instantly recognised design that has got no less than a legendary status. The Royal Oak is one of those watches that has got presence and gets attention. Love it or hate it, the RO is my pick from Gerald Genta’s trio. Modern alliterations like 15202 and 15450 most definitely better at time keeping and at being reliable. The 15202ST is the closest one yet to the original Jumbo but I prefer the 15450’s stance.
Another wrist watch that’s easily identified, if not more known to those who aren’t that drawn to watches. It was so desirable where many made a PAM the stepping stone into the watch game.As much as I’m still having a love hate relationship with Panerai, say the PAM 112 its clean and simple design that isn’t difficult to adore. If you have to have one with a crown guard, the PAM676 is unlike its thick predecessors.
Also an easily recognised timepiece is none other than a Rolex. The one in question is a 36mm, an evergreen, the first waterproof watch hence the mollusk naming and to many, an entry to the watch game. Other makes may be more attractive from time to time but little can be done to take the crown off this history-filled classic.
Not many have caught the eye in the couple of seasons but in the latest and final one, a two-tone Sub. Even though they’re no longer used for diving, they can take a lot of beating and do not require frequent servicing. When stainless steel models are such hot cakes, we’d get one of these rather than pay a premium.
