Measuring at 36 millimeters is a good size for my wrist of 15 and a half centimeters in circumference. It too wears a bit like the Air-King since Rolexes tend to wear larger. Conversely, the Seiko doesn’t have the heft but could one ask for more? If you really dislike it's bracelet, just swap for a NATO, ZULU or leather strap since the 5 goes well with them.

I'm not suggesting that with a Seiko 5, watches that live higher in the horology food chain are to be dismissed. But if one is unsure whether or not to dip their toes in, the 5 makes a good starting point. As for those already having a luxury watch, get a 5 and be surprised by how much you can get with so little.
On top of good looks as well as no less than an excellent daily beater, I don’t deny having thoughts of purchasing others in a different design. Seek for one and get back on your choice of the Seiko 5 and at what price point. Let the fun begin.
